Thursday, December 30th, 2010

Tassimo Coffee Lipton Cup-a-Soup

My latest order from Amazon arrived last night: Lipton Chicken Noodle Cup-a-Soup and Gevalia Black Iced Coffee for Tassimo Coffeemakers. I received two 16-count packages of the Tassimo iced coffee, 32 pods altogether, for $5.00 – that works out to .16 cents per cup. The Lipton Cup-a-Soup was $8.33 for a pack of 12 – each box contains 4 envelopes of soup, for a total of 48 Cup-a-Soup servings. This makes the cost .17 cents per bowl of soup.

My Amazon.com Finds: Cheap Soup & Tassimo Coffee

Friday, December 24th, 2010

I know I said I was taking today off, but as I was relaxing this afternoon and browsing SlickDeals, I found out about two good deals on Amazon that I wanted to share:

Lipton Cup-a-Soup, Chicken Noodle with White Meat, 4-Count Pouches per Box (Pack of 12)

****IMPORTANT UPDATE: This soup went out of stock before I could even hit the publish button! I’m going to leave the information up here in case it comes back in stock before the coupon code expires tomorrow. The Tassimo deal is still available, however!****

Lipton Cup-a-Soup, Chicken Noodle with White Meat, 4-Count Pouches per Box (Pack of 12) is available for $8.33 after discounts. To receive this price, first select “Subscribe & Save”, then enter coupon code UNLVRHL5 at checkout. This coupon is valid through December 25th. Please note, by signing up for “Subscribe & Save” they will automatically ship you this item every few months unless you cancel – however, from what I understand it is very easy to cancel – just make a note on your calendar to cancel it so that you have no further obligation. Since there are 12 4-count boxes, you get a total of 48 servings – making the cost .17 cents per bowl of soup.

Gevalia Black Iced Coffee, 16-Count T-Discs for Tassimo Coffeemakers (Pack of 2)

Gevalia Black Iced Coffee, 16-Count T-Discs for Tassimo Coffeemakers (Pack of 2) is available for $5.00 after entering coupon code TDISC555. Shipping is free if you sign up for Amazon Student or Amazon Momclick here for more info on Prime, courtesy Money Saving Mom. One coupon per person – and if you’d prefer tea, you can get Twinings Earl Grey Tea, 16-Count T-Discs for Tassimo Coffeemakers (Pack of 2) for $5 with the coupon code instead!

The reason that I jumped on this deal is because I actually just received a Tassimo Coffeemaker this week for review on Contest Corner. These machines brew coffee one cup at a time using special pods, and one 16-count package of this coffee normally retails for $8.99 on their website. Since this is a two-pack with a total of 32 servings, this averages out to .16 cents per serving – a very frugal way to stock up on this special coffee!

Enjoy your Christmas Eve, everyone!

NoMoreRack ***Expired***

NoMoreRack

I normally don’t post a lot of “Refer to earn” deals, but I’m going to make an exception for this one because I think it’s worthwhile. NoMoreRack is an online retailer that offers daily deals on a variety of items. Each day, NoMoreRack posts 8 new deals. To spread the word about their company, they are offering a free $10 gift card when you sign up, which can be redeemed on your purchase of $20 or higher; shipping is a flat rate of $2 per item. And if 35 of your friends sign up through you before noon EST on December 16th, you will also receive an iPod Shuffle! Here’s the details:

1. Click here to sign up for NoMoreRack.
2. Click on “My Profile”, then select “Redeem a Gift Card”.
3. Type in code P1070 (They will also show you this code on the confirmation page when you register)
4. Your $10 off $20 credit will be added to your account.
5. To refer friends, click on “Invite friends” and send them your referral link. If 35 of your friends sign up, you will receive an iPod Shuffle; if even more of your friends sign up, you can select another product (All the way up to an iPad for 400 friends). This referral promotion ends December 16th at noon EST.

NoMoreRack is a legitimate site that has been featured on CBS – click here to watch their segment mentioning NoMoreRack. I think this offer could be valuable to many of you for Christmas shopping – the $10 off $20 gift code could come in handy for reducing the cost of a present for someone on your list. Many of you may have friends that would be interested in signing up, and 35 referrals is not a huge number; it’s worth a shot, because an iPod Shuffle would certainly make a great Christmas present! If you have any questions about signing up, just leave a comment below or email me.

Cheap Makeup at Soap.com – Today Only

Sunday, December 12th, 2010

Soap.com

Today, December 12th only at Soap.com, you can receive 50% off Maybelline products by entering coupon code FBMAYBELLINE at checkout (Max discount value $15). Maybelline products are already discounted, and you can receive free shipping if your pre-coupon total is $25 or higher; if you are a first-time Soap.com customer, apparently you can also stack my coupon code SUPE8183 to receive an additional 15% off; and don’t forget about cashback through Ebates or ShopatHome! Here’s how to snag a deal:

1. Go to Ebates or ShopatHome and search for Soap.com. I chose ShopatHome because of the higher cashback rate, but please be aware that there is a chance that these coupon codes may not qualify for cashback on their site. I’m willing to try it and find out!

2. Check out the Maybelline product category at Soap.com and add $25 worth of products to qualify for free shipping.

3. Enter discount code FBMAYBELLINE at checkout to receive 50% off and SUPE8183 to receive an additional 15% off if you are a new customer.

Maybelline Define-A-Line Eyeliner Maybelline Express Finish Nail Enamel

This deal came at a great time for me, because I just noticed the other day that the eyeliner pencil from my Allergy SuperStore order is about to run out. I live in black eyeliner, and the type I buy normally retails for around $7 per pencil. Using this deal, I was able to purchase five Maybelline Define-A-Line Eyeliner pencils and one Maybelline Express Finish Nail Enamel for a total of $7.37 shipped – that averages out to $1.23 per item. In addition to the 50% off discount, I also had a $5 credit in my account, so it was a great deal!

Thanks to SlickDeals for the tip!

My Dormzy Order

Friday, December 10th, 2010

It’s certainly been an eventful few weeks. My knee injury has gotten worse, so I’ve actually had to start using a wheelchair temporarily. I can still stand and walk short distances, but I need to use the chair for longer treks, and I also use it around the house as much as I can so that I can keep as much weight off my knees as possible. Jai has been taking care of everything for me while my knees heal – errands, chores, cooking, you name it – he is truly the greatest! I can’t tell you how lucky I am to have such caring people in my life looking out for me.

Suffice to say, I want to keep shopping and cooking as easy as possible right now – so I was especially happy about the Dormzy deal last week! I placed my order last Thursday, and got a giant box in the mail earlier in the week. Here’s what I ordered:

Dormzy

After using my $50 gift certificate from Groupon, my total out of pocket was .11 cents. I spent $25 to buy the gift certificate, so my final cost was $25.11 for 69 items – here’s what I got:

2 cans of Campbell’s Chicken Noodle Soup
1 can of Campbell’s Tomato Soup
1 can of Del Monte New Whole Potatoes
1 box of Hefty One Zip Freezer Bags, Quart, 18 Count
3 cans of Hormel Breast of Chicken in Water, Premium Chunk
7 Maruchan Instant Lunch cup-o-noodles, Beef
9 Maruchan Instant Lunch cup-o-noodles, Chicken
3 boxes of Pasta Roni Chicken & Broccoli
3 boxes of Pasta Roni Tomato Parmesan
1 box of Quaker Chewy Granola Bars, Lowfat Chocolate Chunk
1 jar of Ragu Pasta Sauce Meat Flavored
12 packages of Ramen Noodles, Beef
10 packages of Ramen Noodles, Chicken
10 packages of Ramen Noodles, Oriental
5 cans of Starkist Tuna, Chunk Light, in Water

I can’t tell you how happy I am to have a big supply of ready-to-eat meals on hand!

Frugal Holidays: 60 Custom Photo Cards For $4.32 Shipped

Wednesday, December 8th, 2010

SeeHere Photo Cards

I wanted to send out photo Christmas cards this year, so I was waiting until our engagement photos were finished to get started (You’ll be hearing more about those later!). Well, the perfect deal popped up just in time, and I wanted to share it with you in case any of my readers want to pick up some cheap cards themselves! Now through December 12th, you can order 60 custom 4×8 single-sided, flat photo cards through SeeHere for $4.90 – just enter coupon code 50cards at checkout. Both standard shipping and overnight shipping are free with this code; I HIGHLY recommend picking the overnight option, as standard delivery will not arrive for some time. Allow 3 days for order processing with either option.

Shop through Ebates or ShopAtHome to receive 12% cashback, and your final cost for these cards will be $4.32! (New to online rebates? Click here to read my article “How I Save Money With Online Rebates” for more info.)

Just FYI, SeeHere is in the process of upgrading to a new site, so you might want to check out the “New SeeHere Preview Site”, as it seems to work more smoothly. I wouldn’t think that this would affect cashback since it’s still the same site, but you might want to keep an eye out in case Ebates has any trouble tracking it. The “New” preview site also has more designs than the main SeeHere.com page. You can also access it by clicking “Try out the New SeeHere” link at the top of SeeHere.com.

Thanks, Money Saving Mom!
