I have several trips to report this week, so let’s start with Monday’s Safeway run:

Got:

3 boxes of Pop Tarts – regularly priced at $2.00 each, used a coupon from the Safeway sales flier to bring the price down to $1.00 each. I then used a $1 off two Pop Tarts coupon that I found in a cereal box a while ago, making the final price $2.00 for three boxes (roughly .66 cents each).
1 package of tortillas – price: $2.89
1 package of toilet paper – $5.99
1 package of trash bags – price: $3.29
5 Lean Cuisine meals – on sale for $1.59 each when you buy five – final price: $7.95 for five. I have a lot going on in the evenings these days, so I need to have things on hand for quick dinners. Now that I’m reorganizing my schedule, I’ll be making time to do more make-ahead cooking and freezer meals; but in the meantime, these dinners are tasty and low in calories.
2 gallons of milk – on sale for $1.69, final price: $3.38 for two. I like this new lower price on milk!
1 half-gallon of chocolate milk – on sale for $1.99, used one “Buy two gallons of milk, get a half gallon of chocolate milk free” printable coupon – final price: free.
6 Banquet dinners – on sale for $1.00 each, used one .60 cents off 6 dinners coupon that I found inside another Banquet package, which doubled – final price: $4.90 for 6 (a little over .81 cents each)
2 32 oz bottles of Coffee-Mate – regularly $3.49 each, used a coupon from the Safeway sales flier to bring the price down to $1.99 each, and then stacked it with a $1.50 off two bottles printable coupon, which doubled. Final price: $1.98 for both.
1 Sunday paper – price: $2.50
2.46 lbs of broccoli – $1.99 per pound, final price: $4.90
4 mangoes – on sale for .50 cents each, final price: $2.00
