Giveaway: Two Bags of Mahatma Rice

In my article “How To Throw a Sponsored Party”, I talked about the fact that I am a member of the word-of-mouth marketing panel, BzzAgent. I also mentioned how one of my recent campaigns with them involved me getting free bags of rice, along with a stack of free product coupons to pass out to my friends. I still have a few of these coupons left, so I thought it would be fitting to hold a giveaway for one of the coupons here!

Free Mahatma rice coupon

One lucky reader will win two coupons – one for a free 2 lb. package of Mahatma rice, and one for a free 28 oz. package of Mahatma brown rice. Both coupons expire 6/30/10.

One of the reasons I love being a member of BzzAgent is because it compliments my frugal lifestyle. I’ve been putting my free bags of rice to use by making some of my favorite meals – for a quick weekday lunch, I’ll stick a few cups of Mahatma in the rice cooker, and add some onion, grated carrot, garlic, and Chipotle seasoning salt to lend extra flavor to the rice as it cooks. I serve it with refried beans – and then we’ll roll the leftovers up in a tortilla with some cheese the next day for another meal. So on that note, I’d like to know:

Rules, regulations, and other important stuff:
Giveaway ends on March 25th at 11:59 PM, PST. Winner will be chosen the following day via Random.org. Contest is open to US residents and APO/FPO addresses. BzzAgent provided me with two free bags of rice and free product coupons because of my participation in their program. I have decided to share one of my coupons as a giveaway here.

One of our favorites – cooked rice (one cup rice to 1.3/4 cup water)and one can of S&W Carribean Black beans. Mix thoroughly. You can eat it as is (very yummy), but we also serve this in grilled flour shells. I lightly spray the shells with cooking spray and sprinkle with garlic salt, then cook for a minute or so on each side. Top the beans/rice with sour cream, if you have it.
