Back In Oregon

The view out of our plane’s window yesterday, as we flew over Greenland

Hello everyone!! Jai and I got back from our trip yesterday afternoon. We had a wonderful time! I’m currently recovering from major jet lag combined with an icky flu that I caught right before we left, so I just wanted to pop in quickly and say “Hi”. I’m going to rest up this weekend, and then I’ll share pictures of the bargain shopping that I did in England!

I’d like to thank all my fabulous guest writers again for sharing their frugal thoughts with us while I was away. I have one last guest post coming up tomorrow, so you can enjoy that while I re-adjust to the time zone! Also, the baby oil giveaway ends on Monday, so be sure to get your entries in – big thanks to guest poster Sun for hosting it.

I’ll have lots to catch up with in the coupon world next week. What deals have you guys snagged this month?

We so enjoyed last nihgts’ Crushpad dinner! The Ivy Wild selections were delicious and so were all the wines you had for us to try! For our glass of wine, four of us chose 4 different wines and then chose the syrah for dinner! Excellent! The music was soft and nice for dinner conversations, but the real entertainment was watching Maria and her helicopter service to you and the cherries! That was amazing to watch. We used helicopters for our Christmas tree harvest years ago and the name of the game for that was speed! For cherry tree operations, it is just the opposite! Do hope that worked for you last night! Thank you for a great evening, and we look forward to joining you again for another Crushpad dinner event!

Pete and Katie, sorry we didn’t get out as much as we could last year, finances were a litlte tight with the local mortgage market. However, things have picked up noticably and we plan on visiting often. We would be very interested in your wine club. We met and joined a club out of Leavenworth very good wines and a petite operation very similar to yours. There production facilities are in Wenatchee I just can’t recall their name off the top of my head, but Dominque remembers I’m sure. So keep us posted and looking forward to when you are open for tastings again, All our best, Gary and Dominique Bracht
